Fringe and Sweatshorts

I had no time today to really jazz up my look with a well thought out outfit, as I had Pilates earlier and went straight to the beach. I had to to throw something together to meet my sis for dinner, but felt like being comfy and bare. Instead of taking the time and effort to piece together an outfit, I kept on what I had from the beach and added some funky accessories to make me feel more fun and fresh. Here's what I came up with...
The Poncho is from Forever, but was from a couple years ago. I posted a similar one from this season
The sweatshirts are also from Forever
Sandals- Matiko
Top- Splendid
Fringe Necklace- Forever
Bag- Cleobella
Rope Turban headband- Rosie Sunday
Silver Cuff- Vintage

I understand its a bit funky for some, but accessories can really make the most boring outfit fun. When your hair looks a mess, braid it and throw on a slouchy hat or cool vintage headband like this one from Rosie Sunday and call it a night. I also like to pile on the fringe, from my bag, to the poncho, to my metal fringe necklace. It makes me feel funktified without going too overboard.
If you aren't into the turban, here are some alternatives to throw in your hair and look polished and trendy without much work.

I shot these with Jillian the designer...I like these because whether your preppy, trendy, plain jane, or a bit edgy, there is something here that could work for you.
