Summer Essentials

As the summer is in full swing, I find myself more sandy, less showered, and in desperate need of my all time fav summer go to's. So what if I don't shower everyday? So what if I pick my scabs and eat them? (Its a Chris Farley line, I don't really eat my own scabs...) My point is, nobody has to know! Dry shampoo, under eye moisturizer, soothing cream, and some great scents are just a few necessary and cheap(er) ways to look (and smell) your summer best.

I found this gem through a friend of mine who is a model as well. Her face was dewey and glowing bright and early on our way to set to shoot for the Lucy active wear summer collection and I had to have it. It is all natural and smells like freshly picked roses...A must!
This under eye cream is soothing and minty. It's light yet moisturizing to help with dry under eye skin helping you to look more awake and fresh. It is meant to be used as a primer as well, so whether its for right after the beach or under makeup for a night out, it gets the job done.

I love this stuff. I use it most when I go open water swimming in the early morning, but love it for the beach or whenever I will be wet in general and don't want to look like the girl that wears makeup to the beach. It goes on smooth and can double as cover up for discoloration or zits, but is tinted so it protects while it conceals.

This was given to me as a gift because this was a "favorite things" item of my friends and she wanted to share the wealth. This stuff is perfection. It is so moisturizing and makes your legs look sleek and air brushed from the consistency of the lotion. Not too thick, not to thin, but juuuust right.

I went to an EMA (Environmental Media Association) event and "Say Yes to Carrots" sponsored the event and gave amazing gift bags packed with their organic products. This soothing eye gel feels amazing after a day at the beach (or a night out with your friends), especially if you keep it in the fridge!

What would I do without this stuff? If you haven't heard of dry shampoo, do yourself a favor and go buy some NOW! This scent by Batiste is my fav because it smells delectable and is summer in a bottle. After the beach before dinner with friends, before and after working out, or to start your day with no time to wash your hair, dry shampoo removes the greasy shine and leaves your hair looking fresh.

Jo Malone has quality perfumes in any scent you could imagine. This one is bound to get you compliments and lift your spirits. It smells soooooo good.

I think we all know and love this mascara, but in case you don't, its cheap and effective. It makes lashes thicker and fuller and is a steal. Of course there is water proof as well, but no matter how much I am in the water, I hate waterproof. It always smears slightly to look like under eye circles but never comes off fully at the end of the day!I stick with the regular.

I have tried almost every bronzer out there, and while most get the job done just fine, Laguna by Nars always gives that summer glow that truly looks like you have been at the beach all day...at least on your face(: I love it and think they have mastered the shade, glow, and application of this bronzer.

The picture says it all. It brightens and awakens with its minty tingle and truly freshens up the whole face. Perfect to throw on with mascara, bronzer, and gloss for an all natural fresh look.
If you are very dry and need the heavy duty moisturizer, this Alba cream is thick and luxurious. It too smells like summer and makes your skin feel supple (hate that word) and hydrated all day.
Lastly, swipe this all natural lip balm on and you are ready to go. That extra pop of color makes your skin look tanner, and always helps to keep you from looking washed out. Plus its good for your lips and such cute packaging! Im a sucker for presentation...

All of these products are tried and true. I love them and they keep me looking fresh and clean when thats not always the case (don't judge me). Try them out for yourself and see how you like them, I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
