Today my sister and I went to the beach because I finally got her to swim with me...cap, goggles, fins, and all! She gets embarrassed of people seeing her all geared up in what I admit is not sexy beach attire. However, its a great workout and its my fav summer routine. Anyway, we got dressed afterwards and discovered we were wearing the same outfit in different colors. We are twins after all! I had to snap some pics to showcase this rarity. (We stopped matching clothes when we were 5, this was an accident)

Karen: 5'8'' Blue Eyes, Brown hair, Fair skin, freckles
Kim (me): 5'11'', Blue Eyes, Blond Hair, Olive skin
Karen is the more preppy twin, as you can see with her chino shorts, tailored button down, and Burberry wallet...she saved up for that thing in high school and its been her baby ever since.
I am a bit more disheveled in my menswear inspired blue button down, Gucci aviators, homemade cut off shorts, and Hobo Fringe Cleobella bag.
Notice the red bikini popping through. I truly believe in wearing a bikini as under garments all summer long...maybe even all year long...don't judge me
Isn't she cute?! Karen is usually more tailored than I am with that Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn feel to her style. Soooooooo classy.

Stripes are everywhere right now and I love how they make any outfit a bit sweeter and trendy without much effort. It can however be played out and too themed when paired with pieces that are too preppy, nautical, or "grungy". By making it your own without trying to fit into any one mold, it will always work!
