These two are my favorites. I adore this dress on the left because of how low cut it is without being inappropriate. The print combo with the color palette is also a favorite because its chic and feminine with that "flowy" feel to it. The cap sleeves are the perfect size as well...and I am not a cap sleeve fan. I am an ex water polo player, so these shoulders are here to stay and cap sleeves normally exaggerate them. However, these sleeves are cut so that they do not bring focus to the shoulders but instead showcase the feminine tailoring of the dress.
The dress on the right is hand tie dyed and is so summery and flattering on. The color is very flattering on most skin tones and looks great with a great pair of worn leather sandals like these ones here! (Thanks Lotta!)
This tunic and shorts combo is simple and comfortable. Definitely an outfit that can translate to any age.
Does this dress look familiar? I know I have posted about it but I just love the graphic print with the slit up the front!
Not in love with me being serious, but love this scarf. I would love it with cutoff shorts, black tank, sandals, and high messy bun. Simple with a pop of bright colorful print.
Love this black and white pattern! It looks cool in the pic, but on its even better. It feels fresh and looks contemporary and cool. Another item that I think would be great on any age. Those shoes are my own and are Charlotte Ronson. Love the tie up front!
You could use this sarong to the left as a beach blanket, wrap, dress, or even over a table in a room in your house. Its versatile and another great print by Lotta. I myself have some great throws from Nairobi that my sis got me when she came back from living in Africa and I use them for all of the above.
This bright green dress to the right is great with a tan. It definitely highlights that summer glow and is perfect for a beach BBQ.
This "Nairobi" print comes in all types of styles as you can see and I can never decide what I like most. I almost think its worth getting all styles because when you find something you love and know will wear, why not stick to what works? Oh yah... money... Well if your on a budget like most of us, take your time and make sure you are buying an investment piece. I know that with my personal style, regardless of trend, I will wear my Lotta Stensson dress for many years to come. Figure out your personal style and stay within the realm of what that is for the most part, which will ensure you getting the biggest bang for your buck! Gotta love Lotta, how about you?
