Venice Shoot

I just got back the proofs from a photo shoot I did a couple weeks ago in Venice and have been so excited to see how they turned out. I normally am not as on top of when or where the pictures I have taken for a job end up, but i felt differently about this shoot because it was at the beach! The clothes, the tan, the "beachy" hair, and just the feeling of summer make me happy, so I had to post these pics. They are for my book and were done by Paige Craig who does most portfolio pics for Wilhelmina. She is so much fun and gets the job done quickly which is key for a photoshoot. No one wants to be in the same look for an hour because they cant get "the shot". Here are a few of the "winners", because as is true with recreational pictures or professional, there are going to be many shots that are unflattering and goofy looking. From supermodels to plain Jane, we all take "bad" pictures. Models are just expected to work on the way they are photographed so that they can get the shot in a relatively quick amount of time and give the photographer different tools to work with. These photos were narrowed down by my agent, take a look!

I love this sheer Lotta Stensson top (remember that dress I'm wearing in a previous post? I got this from that photo shoot as well! Love it!). It ties closed and cinches at the waist, one of my favorite styles for any top. The suit is by Sunset Bikini and I love the bright yellow, its so sunny(:

Oh Im sorry, you caught me off guard climbing up this rock. I just love my hair and rocks.

 Oh you know, just hanging out by the volleyball courts. I love this net! Its so much fun!!! Yayyyyy!
Hahaha I love these because they make me laugh. The net, the red bikini, the big smile... not as much my personal style, but I hammed it up a bit and had a great time!

Gotta be able to laugh at yourself and go with it!
