Under Armor Final Go See

So I have had the most insane last two weeks with work and traveling and am back for a while finally. Thank you for your patience, but I promise I have some fun pics for post updates in the next few days, so keep an eye out(:
I just got back from Baltimore, where I got flown out for a quick 24 hour trip to train for a final cut casting for Under Armor active wear. There was a casting a few months back for it with a few hundred girls, but the casting peeps let us know they held a nation wide casting and interviewed close to a thousand girls. I was stoked and felt so honored to be included in their final picks. They are looking for girls for their new AMAZING girls active line coming out in spring 2012 that represent the "city girl" that is trendy and fun, where activity and athletics are a way of life. They put us through an intense 2 hour training with their private trainer on their massive and impressive compound on the gorgeous bay in Baltimore. Their corporation is not only huge but is so cool! They have basically taken over this industrial section of the bay where old warehouses and colonial style buildings have been remodeled for Under Armor. I loved being here! Check out the trip...

They gave us a bunch of gear to keep and put us in these cute and colorful work out outfits! Love my Under Armor crops!

There was a hurricane on its way toward us, and we just landed right after a 6.0 earthquake on the East coast...where there arent supposed to be quakes! However, we were soooo happy with our Whole Foods!

I just loved walking through the city to get a coffee and breakfast by myself early in the morning to de brief and think. I was in love with the colonial style buildings, murals, and quaint feel of the town by the water.

We were just getting to Under Armor and not sure what to expect...
We were all pretty goofy and fun so the dynamic was super positive and helped us to not be soo nervous for the boot camp style workout we were about to endure.

Right our front of their cafeteria where they only serve healthy food for their employees! Such a cool place to work.

Their compound is right on the water...such an amazing atmoshpere!

This is them tired... We could barely brush our hair from our arms being so dead from this workout they tested us with! Its going to be a 6 day shoot so they want to make sure all the models chosen are athletic enough, which is why they flew us out to workout and fly back. They were evaluating us the entire time...Talk about pressure! It was fun though to work hard with these girls though because they were all so encouraging and we all wanted each other to do well...unless Im just being naive which I sometimes tend to be...hmmm either way it was fun!

Meet Shelley...she is cool. Hi Shelley.

In the end it was a really fun trip and I got to meet some pretty awesome people. I was not chosen for this job, but (cross your fingers) they said they want to use me in future projects. Thats the thing with this industry, you always have to put your best foot forward because even if your not right for the upcoming campaign, they are always thinking long term. Do your best no matter what and hopefully you impress some people along the way to where they want to work with you. Its like anything in life and its just one more thing to help refine you and make you tougher, work harder, and appreciate the the ones you get(:
